I recently bought the book "Baking Magic" by Kate Shirazi simply because the front cover was green with white polka dots. The book inspired me to make some chocolate and vanilla cupcakes which I then decorated with pastel -coloured frosting and hand made fondant shapes. I loved the colour combinations. My frosting skills still need work, but as I am due to start a cake decorating course next week, I am hoping that they will improve!
