Mmm...... Nutella.
I have been meaning to make these for a while!

I came across a crunchy chocolate spread by Whole Earth. It tasted like a Ferrero Rocher!

The frosting had normal nutella in.
Nutella Frosting:-
80grams unsalted butter (room temp)
250 grams icing sugar
80 grams nutella
25ml whole milk
Method:-
1. Beat together butter and icing sugar until well combined
2. Add milk
3. Mix in the nutella and beat until smooth

I started with chocolate cupcakes and then when they were cooled I scooped out a little bit of cupcake and then put in about 2 teaspoons of the crunchy chocolate hazelnut spread.

I then added a little frosting, dusted with cocoa and topped with whole hazelnuts.

I also made some mini versions!
Not the prettiest cupcakes I have ever made but they were delicious!
Sounds so yummy!
ReplyDeleteThey were yummy! Mrs G was kind enough to leave me some when I house-sat for her last weekend. The Boy and I devoured them in minutes.
